Jordan Stanton, DO is a board certified psychiatrist who joined Kansas City Psychiatric Group in July of 2021. She was raised in Michigan and attended Albion College for her pre-medical and undergraduate studies. She completed medical school in Kansas City, Missouri at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences: College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed residency training in psychiatry at Ozark Center in Joplin, Missouri, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, AGLP: The Association of LGBTQ+ Psychiatrists and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
Dr. Stanton treats patients ages 18 and older with a wide range of disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders and OCD with a particular interest in substance abuse disorders. She is an LGBTQ+ friendly provider.
